What The Foundation Supports:

The Sunshine Cathedral Foundation (SCF) a 501 C 3 recognized organization and its Board of Governors (BOG) is comprised of individuals actively engaged in the church and its missions. The BOG members come from diverse backgrounds which leads to broad thinking and support for the church and our campus.

One of the objectives of the Foundation BOG is to ensure the Sunshine Cathedral Campus, which is comprised of many elements, is serving the needs of our community and remains a viable element in the community for generations to come. Today from the food ministry to an element targeting young gay people experiencing homelessness called Sunshine Pride House, our community support has a very broad reach.

Simply put, a hub of activity nearly 24 hours every day, be it spiritual, performing arts, support groups, remembrance center, source of food for those in need or simply a place to be at peace, the Campus is a hub of nonstop activity. Maintaining our Campus is more than just about bricks and mortar elements. Think about Insurance, HVAC systems, roofing systems, windows, paint, plumbing, parking and continuous maintenance, etc., that need and require our mindful diligence to ensure our longevity in support of our community. It is about planning and being prepared as all these systems are put under strain and age in the tough South Florida climate.

We have established ways to donate to the Sunshine Cathedral Foundation beyond the giving taking place during service. We welcome your involvement in and contributions to our programs. Contact us to learn more.

How You Can Help With Our Mission:

The Ambassadors Club Program: In this effort, we ask for donations to the SCF in the form of $500/person $1000/couple or as you can afford, on an annual basis. The money collected goes directly to offsetting the expenses of managing the SCF and our Campus.

In a world where grant funds have diminished dramatically and overall donations have decreased, we call upon our Church Congregation and beyond, to help us offset some of these expenses. Please reach out to us to become a member of our Ambassadors Club Program as we work to make a difference on our campus and within our community.

The Pillars Society Program: This effort is focused on end-of-life planning. For those individuals seeking to leave a legacy in our community you can do so by leaving directives associated with Sunshine Cathedral and or Sunshine Cathedral Foundation. Through estate or trust planning, you can establish your final wishes and earmark funds to the Foundation or Church. You can also work with The Our Fund Organization to establish how you would like your legacy to live on after you leave this world.

Columbarium and Memorial: You can secure a final resting place for your ashes within our peaceful garden area. Individuals, couples and/or pets are welcome and you can make these arrangements by contacting Bishop Robert Griffin or SCF member Dr. Keith Muller.
