Campaign Priorities

1. Protecting Our Buildings and Campus

- Sanctuary roof replacement

- Air conditioner upgrade

- Administration office hurricane window replacement

- Repainting of buildings

- Electrical upgrade for Cathedral Pub

These projects help preserve the buildings that support worship, administration, fellowship, and outreach. They also help prepare the campus for heat, storms, heavy use, and future ministry needs.

2. Improving Safety and Emergency Readiness

- Install an AED defibrillator machine

- Upgrade safety signage

- Install bollards in the grass area in front of the church steps and along the sides

- Install bollards around trash container doors

Safety improvements help protect worshipers, visitors, volunteers, staff, and community partners. Clear signage, emergency equipment, and physical safety measures support a more secure campus for everyone who enters our doors.

3. Expanding Accessibility and Welcome

- Additional handicap parking

- Signage for handicap entrance

- Directional pole signage

- Rent parking space for EV parking

A welcoming church is one where people can arrive, park, find their way, and participate with dignity. These projects improve access for people with mobility needs, first-time guests, members, and community visitors.

4. Strengthening Hospitality and Ministry Capacity

- Install a commercial ice-making machine

- Install a convection oven

- Sanctuary light upgrade

Hospitality is ministry. Upgraded kitchen equipment supports meals, receptions, gatherings, volunteers, and special events. Improved sanctuary lighting enhances worship, streaming, music, memorials, performing arts, and community programs.

5. Improve Security and Safety

- Install Archway Metal Detector Systems

- Upgrade security cameras and monitor system

To improve security and safety for all members, visitors, staff, and volunteers, the church will strengthen its protective measures by installing archway metal detector systems at key entry points and upgrading the security camera and monitoring system throughout the facility.

These improvements will help identify potential risks before they enter the building, provide better visibility of entrances, parking areas, hallways, and gathering spaces, and support a quicker response in the event of an emergency. By combining respectful screening procedures with enhanced surveillance, the church can maintain a safe, welcoming, and peaceful environment for worship, fellowship, and community activities.
